Contest Rules

Eligibility

If you consider your live animal a pet and they bring joy to your life, they're absolutely eligible to join the cuteness extravaganza! Whether they bark, purr, chirp, or swim, we want to celebrate the adorable diversity of our beloved companions. So, if they've got paws, wings, scales, or anything in between, we can't wait to see their cuteness in action!

Geographic Eligibility

This contest is open to residents of the United States.

Entry Requirements

Participants must complete all required areas of the sign-up form to be considered for the contest. If all required areas are not completed, the pet may not be eligible to participate. There is a required $15 entry donation for EACH pet entered. Pet parents are limited to two (2) pet entrees.

Pet Parent Age Requirement

Pet Parents must be 18 years or older. If you are under the age of 18, we must have parental consent and involvement. Pet Parents under 18 will need to have their parent/legal guardian complete an additional form.

Eligibility for Participation Item

As a token of our appreciation for your incredible efforts, participants who raise a minimum of $100 in our heartwarming fundraising campaign will be honored with an exclusive Participation Perk! This special gesture is our way of recognizing your dedication and commitment to making a positive impact. Expect a delightful surprise that mirrors the love and enthusiasm you've poured into supporting our cause.

Contest Duration

Sign-up begins February 24, 2024 and lasts throughout the contest. Fundraising begins March 18, 2024 at 12:01am EST. Fundraising ends April 10, 2024 at 11:59pm EST Winner is announced live on US National Pet Day on April 11, 2024 at 7:22pm EST via Zoom.

Submission Deadline

All fundraising amounts must be received by the specified deadline of April 10, 2024, 11:59pm EST. Funds received after this date may not be considered in the final tally and will not be refunded.

Donation Guidelines

Donations are only accepted through Gamma Delta Sigma Chapter's website, www.sgrhomiami.com, where supporters can contribute directly to your pet's fundraising page.

Grand Prize Glory

The pet that reigns supreme by raising the most money through www.sgrhomiami.com will be crowned our Grand Prize Winner, earning bragging rights, a dazzling prize, and the 2024 Golden Champion of Charm! The Grand Prize Winner will be treated to a beautifully crafted, personalized pet basket overflowing with handpicked treasures tailored specifically to their beloved pet.

Use of Media

By submitting your cherished pictures and heartwarming videos of your adorable pets, you're not only sharing their charisma with us but also granting us the joy of spreading their cuteness far and wide! We may feature these delightful submissions on our social media, websites, and various platforms to celebrate the furry stars of our contest and share the love they bring. Rest assured, it's all in the spirit of showcasing the irresistible charm of your pets and promoting the warmth they bring to our cause. Your participation is not just about winning—it's about creating a collective ripple of joy!

Health and Safety First

Prioritize the safety and well-being of your pets. We prohibit any activities or displays that may harm or distress animals. Ensure all local, state, and federal laws regarding animal care and welfare are followed.

No Harmful Substances or Materials

Prohibit the use of any harmful substances or materials that could endanger your pet's health or safety during the contest.

Respectful and Appropriate Content

Submit content that is respectful, appropriate, and in good taste. Gamma Delta Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. reserves the right to disqualify any content deemed offensive, inappropriate, or violating community standards.

Code of Conduct

Harmony Pledge:  In this enchanting journey of cute companionship, we kindly ask all participants to embrace a Harmony Pledge, focusing on respect and appropriateness in every paw-step of the way. We celebrate a community where every pet shines, and we ask that interactions reflect the same warmth our furry friends bring. Please refrain from any actions that may cause harm to animals or fellow participants, ensuring that our contest remains a haven of goodwill and shared delight. Let's create a symphony of kindness and camaraderie that echoes the heartwarming spirit of our beloved pets!

Fair Play Framework

To maintain the integrity and spirit of our Rhoer Pet Palooza, we've established a Fair Play Framework with clear disqualification criteria. Participants engaging in any form of fraudulent activity, including misleading fundraising efforts, or displaying inappropriate behavior, may face disqualification. We cherish a community where kindness, respect, and genuine enthusiasm prevail. Let's ensure our contest remains a joyful haven for all participants and their adorable pets, fostering an atmosphere of positivity and goodwill. No Refunds

This is a fundraiser, therefore all entry fees and donations are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Pet Patronage Suggestions
